Candice M. Christiana, beloved daughter of Rick Christiana of Salem MA and Melissa (Duggan) Dos Santos of Fort Meade, MD, died from injuries sustained in an accident in Newnan, GA on November 8, 2006.
Candice attended elementary school in Salem, NH and Fitchburg, MA where she was a member of the Fitchburg Patriots Pop Warner Cheerleader Squad. Later she attended Athol HS where she was an honored member of the Chorus and Commerce HS in Springfield. Candice was very artistic, creative and expressive. She loved writing poetry, music and short stories and also enjoyed creating works of art for others. Candice was also a passionate advocate for Animal Rights and had dreamed of one day being of service to her “four-footed friends”. She was also very devoted to her human friends and will be forever remembered for her generosity, compassion and great big smile.

Meade, MD, brothers Joshua Christiana, Nashua, NH and Richard Dos Santos, Jr., Ft. Meade, MD, sister Amelia Dos Santos, Ft. Meade, MD, grandparents Michael P. Christiana, Sr., Westford, MA, Dorothy R. Akimchuk, Salem, NH, the late Thomas J. Duggan, Sr. of the Lawrence Police Department and the late “Nana Pam” (Early) Duggan, uncles Thomas J. Duggan, Jr., No. Andover, MA, Michael Christiana, Jr., Nashua, NH, David Christiana, Westford, MA, aunts Patricia Mast, Newport News, VA, Becky (Duggan) Kruschwicz, Plaistow, NH, Kelly (Duggan) Woekel, Bradford, MA and 12 cousins
Arrangements: Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Sunday November 19th, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. followed by services at 3:00 p.m. at the Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA 01844
