FRANKLIN—Patricia A. “Pat” Lawton 69, of Franklin, died Friday morning at the Charlwell House in Norwood following a long illness.
Born in Franklin, September 1, 1937 a daughter of the late Paul O. and Pauline B. (Sauve) Lawton she was a lifelong Franklin resident.
Educated in Franklin schools and a 1955 graduate of Franklin High School she worked for over 30 years in the shipping department at the Whiting and Davis Company.
Her interest included fishing, reading the daily paper and spending time with her nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
She was a member and a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Franklin, she was a member of the Franklin Senior Citizens and the American Association of Retired Persons. She also was in charge of coordinating numerous events at the Whiting & Davis Company.
She is survived by a 1 brother Philip A. Lawton of Milford, 3 sisters Pauline Schafer of Philadelphia, Priscilla Cornetta and her husband Richard of Franklin, and Phyllisann Young of Hawaii. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Peter Lawton and Paul Lawton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Monday November 20, 2006 at 10:30AM in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq., Franklin. Interment will follow in the family lot in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
There are no public calling hours.
