SAVIO - Ronald A. Savior II, 44 years, of Brockton, on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, the Lord chose to take Ronald into the Kingdom of Heaven, he was surrounded by family at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center and died unexpectedly; son of Christine (Arre) Savio of Enfield, Conn.; father of Becky DaCruz of Stoughton and Michael Savio of Enfield, Conn.; brother of Maria C. Savio Brockton, Christopher "Gino"
Savio of Brockton and Robert S. Savio of Enfield, Conn.; grandfather of Makayla and Michael DaCruz; uncle of Christina Savio and the late Savanna and Aurora Savio. He will be lovingly remembered for his tremendous giving heart, fun-loving nature, and adventurous soul. Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rt. 123), Brockton, Monday at 8 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish at 9 a.m. Burial in St. Patrick King Street Cemetery, Enfield, Conn. at 12:30 pm.Visiting hours Sunday 2-5 p.m.



BROCKTON - Ronald A. Savio II, 44 of Brockton died Tuesday surrounded by his family at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was born in New Britain, Conn., a son of Christine (Arre) Savio of Enfield, Conn., and resided in Brockton for the past 35 years. Mr. Savio was raised and educated in Brockton. He was widely recognized as a master millwright and had been a mechanic since age 9. Mr. Savio formerly worked for Bornstein Getty Family Automotive in Randolph, Steinbeck Automotive in Dorchester and Easton Concrete Cutting and Drilling in Easton. He enjoyed all outdoor activities, especially canoeing, camping, fishing, and target shooting. He regularly enjoyed eating at the Cape Cod Cafe. He was known for his extraordinary animal rescue efforts, focusing on abused and neglected dogs.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Savio is survived by his daughter, Becky DaCruz of Stoughton; his son, Michael Savio of Enfield; his sister, Maria C. of Brockton; his brothers, Christopher Savio of Brockton and Robert S. Savio of Enfield; two grandchildren; and three nieces.
A funeral service will be held at 8 a.m. Monday from Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St., followed by a funeral Mass at 9 in St. Edith Stein Parish. Burial will be in St. Patrick King Street Cemetery in Enfield.
