Robert B. Campbell age 67 of Salem, NH, formerly of Dracut & Methuen, MA and Bangor, ME, died Thursday at his home in Salem from Pulmonary Fibrosis-UIP.
He was born on Rattlesnake Hill in Andover, MA, where he grew up and attended schools.
Mr. Campbell worked for Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield, MA for many years. He was a US Air Force Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. Mr. Campbell also known as “Country Bob” was a country & western singer, and his group was known as Country Rambler. He also played with Dick Curless. Country Bob’s theme song was the “Auctioneer”. He enjoyed bowling, dancing, fishing, horse shoes, and was an avid card player. He also was an avid Boston sports fan.
He was predeceased by a Son James Neal Campbell and a Grand Son Christopher Martin.

9 Grandchildren: Nicole, Alex, Starr, Skye, Zachary, Gabriella, Dominique, Janelle, & Sammy. Several Nieces & Nephews
Calling hours will be held Sunday, Nov. 19 from 2-5 PM, followed by a funeral service at 5 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH. Cremation will follow, and burial will be in the spring at Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover, MA.
