BELKNAP, JUDITH (LEAVITT), 72, of Hingham, died at her home on Wednesday, Nov. 15th after a long battle with a brain tumor. She was the daughter of the late Dr. George D. Leavitt, Jr. and Thelma (Lewis) Leavitt of East Bridgewater. She is survived by her husband Louis Belknap of Hingham and three sons David of Dedham, John of Braintree and Timothy of Novara, Italy, and a daughter Susan Weisenbeck of Hingham. She was predeceased by two sons, Robert and William. She also leaves two brothers, Dr. George Leavitt of Whitman and Carleton Leavitt of Rockland, ME, a sister, Ann Campbell of Crownsville, MD, an aunt, Priscilla Caskin of Whitman, 8 grandchildren and many cousins, nephews and nieces. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, Nov. 25th at 3 PM at the Second Parish Unitarian Universalist Church, 685 Main St.(Rt. 228), Hingham, MA 02043. All are invited to a reception at the church immediately following the service. Visiting hours and flowers omitted by family request. In lieu of flowers, donations in Judy's memory may be made to the Second Parish Church or to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226. The interment is private.
