Obituary

WORCESTER- J. Kenneth Carsus, 67, died Wednesday, November 15th, in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves his wife of 45 years, Barbara A. (Listewnik) Carsus; his 4 children, Lisa M. Couture and her husband Timothy E. of East Hampstead, NH, Deirdre M. Drapeau and her husband Mark P. of Cherry Valley and Kerith M. Carsus of Manchester, CT, and Jason K. Carsus and his fiancée Tabatha B. Shack of South Grafton; a sister, Barbara J. Lusignan, of Worcester; 5 dearly loved granddaughters, Stephanie, Samantha, Leah, Danielle and Brittany, as well as nieces and nephews.

He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Joseph C. and Rose M. (Dusak) Carsus. He graduated from Commerce High School and New England School of Accounting.

Mr. Carsus served in the Air National Guard during the Berlin Crisis. He worked at E.G. & G. Mason Research Company. In 1986 he became self employed by creating and operating the accounting and tax services of J.K. Carsus, Inc. Mr. Carsus was a member Alcoholics Anonymous United Commercial Travelers and the Worcester Gun Club. He was also an accomplished stained glass artisan showing his glass creations on consignment with local gift stores and at craft fairs.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, November 17th from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 18th at 10 A.M. in the funeral home, followed by burial in Notre Dame Cemetery.
