FALL RIVER - Diamentina (Moniz Mello) Medeiros, 87, of 4901 No. Main St., Fall River, MA. formerly of 532 Alden St., Fall River, MA., died Monday at Sarah Brayton Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Manuel Medeiros. She is survived by Three Sisters: Dorothy Mello, Laura Dunham, and Deolinda Venancio all of Fall River, MA. Several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Manuel Moniz Mello, Evangelina Carvalho, and Georgina Moniz.
Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Manuel Moniz Mello and the late Ermelinda (Costa) Mello. She was a life long resident of Fall River. Before retiring, she was an Assembler at Elbe Cesco, Inc., Alden St. Fall River. She was a member of Espirito Santo Church.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St. on Wednesday at 7:45 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Espirito Santo Church, Alden St. at 9:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
