Irene P. Fielding, 84, of New Bedford died November 11, 2006 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Edward Fielding.
Born in Pawtucket, RI, the daughter of the late Henry Pereiro and Rita "Etta" (Pedro) Moura, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
Mrs. Fielding was formerly employed as a nurses aide for many years until her retirement.
She was a member of The Loyal Order of the Moose. Mrs. Fielding enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Sandra Quirini and Nancy Ferreira, both of New Bedford; a son, Frank Davis, and his wife Diane, of Florida; 4 grandchildren, Tanya Vieira of New Bedford, John Davis of Louisiana, Malinda Davis and Tina Davis, both of Florida; a great-grandson, Seth Davis of Louisiana; several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Joseph Moura.
Her private Funeral Service was held Tuesday, November 14th in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford.
