TEWKSBURY - Helen A. (Tustin) Reams, age 88, a former secretary at Shawmut Bank in
Everett, died Sunday morning, Nov. 12, at D’Youville Senior Care Center in Lowell, after a long
period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Reams, who died in 1984.
She was born in Somerville, April 1, 1918, the daughter of the late Henry and Helen (Doherty)
Tustin, and was raised in Cambridge. She lived in Cambridge, Everett and Waltham the greater
part of her life and had moved to Tewksbury in 2003.
She retired from the former Shawmut Bank in Everett, where she had worked as a secretary.
She was a former member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Waltham, and was a member of the Ladies
Sodality of Joseph’s.
She was also an avid Bingo player.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Roberta H. Babineau and her husband Edward
of Milford, MA, and Judith A. Puls and her husband Joseph of Tewksbury; two brothers, Warren
Cook of Washington, and George Tustin of N.C.; six grandchildren, Michael Babineau of Stow,
Edward Babineau Jr. of Georgia, Roberta Marie Lynnworth of Upton, Lisa Skaff of Lowell,
Stephen Puls of Bedford, and Christen Roy of Maine; and eight great grandchildren.
She was also sister of the late Earl Cook.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday, Nov. 16, in St. William’s Church,
Tewksbury. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Memorials to the Lupus
