Stephen R. Goodwin 48 of 17 Diana St. died Monday (Sept23) at UMASS Memorial Medical Center-Belmont St. Campus after being stricken ill.
He leaves his wife of 21 years Colleen M. (Brennan) Goodwin, a son, Brandon J. Goodwin of Worcester, a daughter, Ashley L. Goodwin of Worcester, his father, Harold C. Goodwin of Orange Lake, FL, a brother Jerome C. Goodwin of Fort Lauderdale, FL, a sister Janice Pauli of Leominster, and several nephews and nieces. A brother David C. Goodwin of Bartow, FL predeceased him. He was born in Salem son of Jean F. (Cameron) Goodwin. He graduated from Danvers High School and attended Quinsagmond Community College.
He was a Self Employed Carpenter for several years prior to that he worked for Service Master for 16 years.
A Funeral will be held Thursday (Sept 26) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home (www.faybrothers.com) 9 Hammond St. with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church 353 Grove St. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Calling Hours are Wednesday (Sept25) from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Charity of Choice.
