Giovanni DiMascio, 94 of Medford died Saturday after a brief illness in the Blaire House of Tewksbury, Tewksbury, MA.
Born in Italy, he lived in Medford for 40 years and formerly of the North End of Boston. Giovanni was the son of the late Soledia and Pasquale DiMascio. For many years he worked in construction for the Laborer´s Union. Mr. DiMascio was devoted to his family and enjoyed gardening and making wine.
Beloved husband of the late Anita (DiMascio) DiMascio. Devoted father of Anthony DiMascio and his wife Lorraine of Tewksbury. Loving grandfather of Anthony T. and Diana DiMascio both of Tewksbury. Loving great grandfather of Leean DiMascio. Brother of the late Domenic, Alfred, Giuseppe, Romeo and Carmen DiMascio. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 9 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
