Celeste M. Lyons, 89, of Beverly Circle, Greenville, died Saturday, November 11, 2006 at her home. She was the widow of George J. Lyons, Jr..
Born in Nova Scotia, a daughter the late Thomas S. and Chantal Pothier. She had been a resident of Greenville since 1948.
She was a volunteer for Insight and Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by her children, George Lyons, III of Charlestown, James and Joan Lyons both of Johnston, Anne King of Wales, MA, Paul Lyons of Shutesbury, MA, Robert Lyons of Harmony, Mary Desorcy of Pascoag and William Lyons of North Providence, 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a brother Benedict Pothier of Dalhousie, New Brunswick. She was the sister of the late Wilfred and Philippe Pothier.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 20th at 11am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Visitation respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Refocus Dream Grant Program, 1228 Westminster, Providence, RI 02909.
