Doris (Oldham) Beshara age 76 of Salem, NH, died Sunday at her home in Salem, NH.
She was born in England, where she grew up and attended schools. She moved to the United States in 1947 to Lawrence, MA. She was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 49 years. She was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem, NH. She was a member of the Salem Democratic Club, and was a former Democratic Delegate for the State of NH Democratic Convention. She was very active with SARC in Salem, NH, where she was a volunteer for many years. She was a past member of St. Joseph Melkite Church in Lawrence, MA, where she was in the Lady’s Sodality. She was a past Commissioner for the Salem Housing Authority, and was in the Lady’s Auxiliary of the VFW Post 8546 in Salem, NH.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday September 25, 2002 at 10 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in the United Lebanese Cemetery, Lawrence, MA.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH.
