Obituary

Robert E. Ferguson, 94, previously of 36 Lake Ave.,
died Wednesday, November 8 at the Notre Dame Long Term Center in Worcester
where he had been living.
He leaves his wife of 64 years Eileen R. (O'Brien) Ferguson also of the
Notre Dame Long Term Center, three sons; William J. Ferguson and his wife
Rita of Braintree, Dr. R. Kevin Ferguson and his wife Jane of Worcester,
David M. Ferguson of Boylston, five daughters; Patricia A. Donehower and her
husband Weston of Burlington, VT., Kathleen Lynch and her husband Joseph of
Franklin, Margaret E. Waugh and here husband Thomas of Portsmouth, R.I.,
Mary Ellen Madden and her husband Brian of Milford, Ann E. Dumas and her
husband David of Brookline, N.H., a sister Mary Heuer and her husband
William of FL., 19 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and nieces and
nephews.
Mr. Ferguson was born in Worcester the son of William J. & Margaret
(Winchester) Ferguson and lived in Leicester for over 60 years.
He was a graduate of South High School and WPI. He was the owner and
operator of Automatic Dispensers in Worcester, retiring in 1976. He was a
Navy veteran of WW II and was a member of St. Pius X Church in Leicester.
The funeral will be held Monday, November 13 from the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL
HOME, 1131 Main St.,Leicester, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Pius X Church,
1154 Main St., Leicester. Burial with military honors will follow in Pine
Grove Cemetery, Leicester. Calling hours are from 3-6 p.m. Sunday in the
funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alzheimers
Assoc. of Eastern MA., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA. 02472.
