Stecz, Edward M. age 65 of Little Ferry, formerly of Jersey City passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband and best friend of Rosemarie Stecz (nee) Grasso. Adored father of Selisa Colwell and dear step-father of Donna Warburton. He is survived by his dear brothers John, Paul and Joseph Stecz and his loving sisters Irene Morganti, Ann Di Foglio, and Margaret Stecz. He is predeceased by his devoted parents Dorothy (nee Banyas) and John Stecz as well as his sisters Elizabeth Ferro and Mary Niedgwiecki. He is also survived by his many loving nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and sister-in-laws. Ed was a Truck Driver for Bulk Matic of North Bergen for 15 years. He was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was also a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. Funeral service Saturday, 8:15am from the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell then to St. Margaret’s RC Church, Little Ferry for a 9:45am Mass of Christian Burial. All are invited to arrive at the funeral home or to meet at church. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to visit Friday, 2-4 & 7-9PM.
