Dina (Balboni) Cremonini of Wellesley, died suddenly on November 6, 2006 at the Metro West Medical Center in Natick. She was 73. She was the beloved wife of the late Vinzen Cremonini.
Mrs. Cremonini was born in Italy in 1933 and was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Giovanna Balboni. She was afflicted with Myasthenia Gravis at a young age while living in Italy, but was successful in treating the disease when she came to this country in 1961. She has been a long time Wellesley resident and was a well known seamstress. She also enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was a member of the Italo-American Educational Club Auxiliary Club.
She was the loving mother of Lisa M. Cremonini of Wellesley. She was the sister of Maria Falzoni, Novella Menini and Rino Balboni all of Italy. She was the aunt of Paul Cremonini and his wife Anne of Wellesley and Linda Nessman and her husband Dennis of Acton. She was the cousin of Louis Corticelli and his wife Luciana of Wellesley. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., Wellesley, on Friday at 8:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Paul’s Church, Wellesley, at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
