Mable P. Cobb, 89, of Fitzgerald passed away Tuesday, November 7, at Dorminy Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, November 9 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with Dr. Lloyd Stembridge officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00, Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cobb was born May 31, 1917 in Mitchell County, Georgia to the late John Brunson and Sally Stevens Price and was preceded in death by her husband, Emory B. Cobb, Sr. She was a homemaker and lived in the community most of her life. Mrs. Cobb was a member of Arbor Baptist Church.
Mrs. Cobb is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Emory B. Cobb & Charlotte and Bobby W. Cobb & Nonie, all of Fitzgerald; daughters and sons-in-law: Sally C. Mayton & Charles of Macon, Emily C. Parrish & Charlie of Perry and Nell Luke Carter & George of Macon; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
