Obituary

Ferrari of Carver formerly of Brockton, November 4, 2006, Robert L. Ferrari, 90 years. Husband for 53 years of the late Mary D. (Mosca) Ferrari.

Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West Street, Brockton Friday at 10:30 am. Visiting hours in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday 5-7 pm. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.

Obituary

Robert L. Ferrari died Saturday evening at his home after a period of failing health. He was born in San Francisco, California, the son of the late Amedeo and Matilda (Fortini) Ferrari. Mr. Ferrari came to Brockton as a young child, attending Brockton schools and was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1934. During WW II he served in the US Army Air Corps stateside. He retired in 1976 from the Main Office in the US Post Office in Brockton as a distribution clerk after 21 years. Mr. Ferrari was a Communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Carver and Our Lady of the Rosary in Stoughton while living in Brockton. He enjoyed collecting model trains and memorabilia, reading, gardening and also enjoyed traveling with his late wife Mary.

He is survived by several cousins.

Husband for 53 years of the late Mary D. (Mosca) Ferrari and brother of the late Dora Ferrari.
