Ramona LePage Goettlich passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 5th, 2006.
Born in Springfield, MA on October 20, 1926, she was the daughter of Lester and Ramona LePage.
Mona married Atty. Francis P. Tehan on July 31, 1948. They resided in Longmeadow, MA and Groton Long Point raising their three children. After Francis' death, she married Paul W. Goettlich and together they resided in Groton Long Point until Paul's death.
Mona was a longtime member of the Groton Long Point Yacht Club and the woman's auxiliary. She was an avid golfer, skier, and tennis player in her earlier years.
She leaves behind her daughters Patricia Tehan Heivly of Mystic, Candace Tehan Lenihan of Stonington, their husbands Robert Heivly and Mark Lenihan; her four grandchildren Keely Tehan Dennis, Ryan F. Lenihan, Shawn T. Lenihan, Emily A Lenihan; her two sisters Priscilla L. Orr, and Janice L. Bauchiero and a brother Lester LePage.
In addition to her husbands, she was predeceased by her daughter Catherine Diane and a granddaughter, Alyssa T. Lenihan.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Thursday at 2pm. Private burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Springfield, MA.
