Obituary

Andrew W. Griffith 40, of Franklin died Thursday November 2, 2006 upon arrival at Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of Dorothy J. (Stafford) Griffith.
Born in Boston, December 4, 1965 a son of William T. Griffith Sr. of Somersworth, New Hampshire and Carol A. (Censullo) Griffith-Davies of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he had lived in Franklin for the past 6 years.
He was raised and educated in the greater Boston area, and attended the Boston School in Randolph, and was a graduate of Newton North High School, where he was an outstanding varsity football player. He also attended Gallaudet University in Washington, DC and graduated from Pittsburgh Art Institute where he was the class valedictorian.
Mr. Griffith worked as a case worker for Advocates Inc. of Ashland, MA a well known local firm dedicated to the needs of the hearing impaired people of this area.
His hobbies and interests included all sports, but was a passionate New England Patriots and Boston College Eagle’s fan.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are 2 stepsons Jason Berry and Richard Berry of Franklin, his stepmother Diane Griffith of Somersworth, NH his stepfather Thomas Davies of Pittsburgh, PA, his maternal grandmother Mrs. Angelina Censullo of Pittsburgh, PA 2 brothers William T. Griffith of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, Brian B. Griffith of Somersworth, NH, a sister Laura N. Griffith of Somersworth, NH and 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Monday November 6, 2006 at 12:30PM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral home 33 Cottage St. with a funeral service in St. John’s Episcopal Church 237 Pleasant St. Franklin at 1:00PM. Rev. John Potter, rector, will officiate. Interment will take place in the family lot in Holy Cross Cemetery Mays Landing, New Jersey.
Calling hours are Sunday November 4, 2006 from 2-5PM at the funeral home.
