Josephine A. (Roscia) Salvatore, a life long resident of Dedham, died November 2, 2006 at the Emerald Court Nursing Home in Norwood. She was 91. She was the wife of the late Albert F. Salvatore.
She was born in Dedham in 1914 and was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Darstea (Meleo) Roscia. She has remained in Dedham for her entire life.
She is survived by a son, Albert J. Salvatore of Belfast, ME and a daughter, Dorothy A. Salvatore of Dedham. She was the sister of Anthony Roscia of Lebanon, ME, Edith Catrone of Westwood and the late Mary Prudenti, Dorothy Scordino, Palimina Pizzi, Theresa Willey and Joseph Roscia. She was the grandmother of Maura Harvey of Belfast, ME, Albert Salvatore of Natick and Nicholas Salvatore of Morris, ME. She also leaves six great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Monday at 8:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 4-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
