William A. “Bill” Crane age 63 of Salem, NH, died Friday at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Home, Derry, NH.
He was born in Haverhill, MA, where he grew up and attended schools. He later attended Bentley College in Boston, MA, and Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, MA. He was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 40 years, formerly of Haverhill, MA.
Bill was a retired custodian for the Salem School District, where he worked for many years. He also owned and trained thoroughbred race horses at Rockingham Park in Salem, NH. He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem, NH and was an avid New England sports fan. Bill really enjoyed spending time at his camp in Ossippee, NH.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years: Lois (Trumbull) Crane of Salem, NH

2 Daughters: Jennifer & her Husband SSG. Bruce Householder of Alaska
Kristin & her Husband Jonathan Goldman of Sandown, NH
His Mother: Anna (Scribner) Crane of Atkinson, NH
1 Sister: Mary Ann & her Husband Dr. Thomas Scott of Atkinson, NH
4 Grandchildren: Ryan, Jason, Gillian, & Brian Jr.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
Calling hours will be Held Monday, Nov. 6 from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
