Lena G. “Lee” (Pannichelli) Gentili 73, of Dennisport & Englewood, Florida and a former longtime Franklin resident, died Wednesday November 1, 2006 at her hone in Dennisport, following a long illness. She was the wife of John A. “Jack” Gentili for over 48 years.
Born in Milford, April 12, 1933 a daughter of the late Nicholas & Josephine (Belso) Pannichelli, she lived in Franklin for most of her life until moving to Florida and the cape several years ago. Raised and educated in Milford she was a 1951 graduate of Milford High School.
For more than 20 years, she worked as an order processor for the former Sears Roebuck Catalog Store in Franklin. After it’s closing, she worked as a cook for the Xaverian priests at our lady of Fatima Shrine in Holliston. She also cooked for several years for the priests at St. Mary’s Church rectory in Franklin.
She was a former communicant of St. Mary’s Church, and a member of it’s Catholic Women’s Club. She loved her family, cooking and bingo.
She is survived by 3 sons Rick J. Gentili of Franklin, Paul T. Gentili of Franklin, Geno A. Gentili of Texas, 5 grandchildren Kristin, Stephen, Nick, Matt & Nichole Gentili.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Saturday November 4, 2006 at 8:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. Franklin at 9AM. Interment will be at later date.
Calling hours are Friday November 3, 2006 from 4-8PM at the funeral home.
