Sue Branch Steverson, 75, of Fitzgerald died Wednesday, November 1, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM, Saturday, November 4 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with Sister Charlotte Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow in Reedy Branch Cemetery, Coffee County. Visitation will be held 7 until 9 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Steverson was born January 13, 1931 in Telfair County to the late Tom and Minnie Grimes Branch. She lived in the community most of her life and was a former resident of Tift County. Mrs. Steverson was a former employee of the Fitzgerald Cotton Mill, Tice Yarn and Southern Roasted Nuts. She was a member of New Testament Holiness Church.
Mrs. Steverson is survived by her children: Ikie Steverson of Moultrie, Barbara Shealey, Thomas Steverson, Royce Steverson and Elvis Steverson all of Fitzgerald; 27 Grandchildren and 36 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Steverson, sons, Harvey Steverson and Jackie Steverson, 5 brothers and 1 sister.
