LOWELL—Michael J. Prestipino, Jr., 35 years old, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died unexpectedly Saturday, October 28th, at Lowell General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Diane (Dubois) Prestipino, who survives him.
He was born in Lowell, on July 17, 1971, son of Michael J. and Gail (Crowley) Prestipino, and was a graduate of Lowell High School and University of Massachusetts, Lowell, where he was a member of the Sigma Phi Omicron Fraternity.
Mr. Prestipino had been employed as a Salesperson by the Ira Motor Group in Tewksbury for the past year and a half. Previously he worked for 6 years as Manager for Colorworks, in Burlington. He was also a member of the National Spinal Cord Association.
Surviving him besides his wife and parents are a daughter: Julia Rose Prestipino, of Lowell, a kindergartener at St. Margaret’s School; his brother and sister-in-law: David and Jessica Prestipino, of Lowell; his paternal grandfather: Jack Prestipino, of Lowell; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Jacqueline and James Zegowitz, of Westford; Suzanne and Jason Frediani, of Lowell; David Dubois; and Michael Dubois, both of Lowell; nieces and nephews: Abigail, Jacob, Jack, Matthew and Max; his godmother: Marylou Raffi; a dear cousin: Melissa Raffi; as well as many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, November 2nd, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). His Funeral Mass to be offered Friday, November 3rd, at 12 PM at ST.
