Obituary

Molly A. (Ciocco) D'Ambrosio, a 49 year resident of Melrose and formerly of the North End of Boston, died on Tuesday, October 31, 2006, at the Epoch Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center in Melrose following a lenghy illness. She was 85 years old.

Molly was born in Boston on August 25, 1921. She grew up in the North End where she attended Boston Public Schools. Molly taught CCD at The Church of The Incarnation. She was a member of the Melrose Highlands Women's Club, the Emblem Club and also a Cub Scout Mother.

Molly is the beloved wife of the late Joseph T. D'Ambrosio. She is the devoted mother of Angelo D'Ambrosio of Wakefield, Linda Ann Papa of Windham, NH, Joseph T. D'Ambrosio, Jr., of Melrose, Mark A. D'Ambrosio of Manchester, NH, and Ann L. D'Ambrosio of Quincy, MA. Molly is the loving grandmother of Lisa Dente, Joseph D'Ambrosio, Laurie Roy, Angela D'Ambrosio, Mark D'Ambrosio, Jr., Matthew D'Ambrosio and Michelle D'Ambrosio. She is also the great grandmother of Katie & Cameron Roy and Adam, Julianne and Jonathan D'Ambrosio.

Molly's Funeral will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2006, at 9:00 a.m. from the Carr Funeral Home, 1159 Main Street, Melrose, followed by her Funeral Mass in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main Street, Wakefield, at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting Hours for Molly will be held on Friday, November 3, 2006, from 4 - 8 p.m. Burial will take place at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
