LOWELL—Miguel A. Baez, 48 years old, a resident of Lowell, died Monday, October 30th, at Saints Medical Center, after a long illness.
He was born in Comerio, Puerto Rico, on November 16, 1957, a son of Maria Colon Baez, and the late Alejandro Baez. He was a graduate of Lowell High School. Mr. Baez had been employed by Courier Citizen, in Lowell.
Surviving him are two sons: Steven and Michael Baez, both of Lowell; a step-daughter: Maria Ramalho, his twelve brothers and sisters: Gloria Baez; Olivia and Carlos Maldonado; Angel Baez; Jose Luis Baez; Hector Baez; Hilda and Paul Huff; Alberto Baez; Luz M. Baez, and her husband Ezequiel Mercado; Luis R. Baez; Luisa A Rivera; Luis A. Baez; and Armando Baez; six grandchildren as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Alejandro Baez and Jorge Baez.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday, November 1st, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). His Funeral Mass to be offered Thursday, November 2nd, at 10 AM at ST. PATRICK’S CHURCH. Burial in the Lowell Cemetery.
