Mary L. Fuccione, age 90, of Woburn for over fifty years formerly of Revere, died October 28th at the Woburn Nursing center following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife for 64 years of the late Joseph A. Fuccione who passed away in 2001. Born in Revere she was the daughter of the late James and Louise (Salvi) Perullo.
As a young lady Mary worked for a number of years at the Schraffts Candy Factory in Charlestown. Once she married and settled in Woburn she also worked for a number of years at Bradlees as a sales clerk in the cosmetics department. Mostly devoted to her family, Mary enjoyed cooking wonderful Italian foods and she also enjoyed crocheting different things for her children and grandchildren. Over the years Mary and her late husband were active with Sons of Italy in Stoneham.
In addition to her late husband and parents, Mary is predeceased by her son Thomas Fuccione, sister, Rose Hayman and brothers Eugene and Edward Perullo. She is survived by her son, Dennis J. Fuccione and his wife Andria of Concord. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Emily Fuccione of Tewksbury and is further survived by her loving grandchildren, Joanne Dillon, Chris, Tom, Joseph, Dennis Jr., Michael and James Fuccione and her loving great grandchildren, Jacob, Jaclyn and Julia Dillon, Kristina, Thomas, Olivia and Matthew Fuccione. Sister of Ronald Perullo of No. Reading, Edith Deyeso, Rita Enos, and Charles Perullo all of Revere.
Funeral from the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, Thursday at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church 280 Main St., Woburn, at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
