Obituary

Kenneth W. Hawko, a resident of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Medford, died at the Tuscon Medical Center, Arizona, after a extended illness. He was Fifty-six years old.

Born and raised in Medford, Ken was a engineer for the Raytheon Company, working in the aerospace industry. Ken was a Medford High School graduate, class of 1964, he later graduated from the University of Georgia. He was a member of the American Legion Post of Tucson, Arizona, and a veteran of the Viet Nam War.

Ken is survived by his parents, Joan (Jordan) and William J. Hawko of Medford, two brothers, Philip of Medford and Stephen and his wife Barbara of Quincy, one sister Gertrude Peckham and her husband Jeff of Georgia, he was the cherished uncle of Sandra Flanagan, Michael Peckham, Stephen Jr., Matthew and Bridget Hawko and the great uncle to Margaret and Grace Flanagan.

His funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, on Friday, September 20, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St. Malden at 10:30. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

Visiting Hours at the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9.
