FITZMAURICE, Florence E. “Sis” (Carroll) of West Roxbury, formerly of Cambridge and Medford, entered into rest on Friday, October 27, 2006. Beloved wife of the late Michael “Joe Fitz” Fitzmaurice. Cherished and loving mother of Carol and the late Ike Iannessa of Brookline, MA, Eileen DeSimone of South Weymouth, MA, Florence Blake of Moravia, N.Y., Michael and Peggy Fitzmaurice of Sagamore Beach, MA, Mary and Joseph Giusti of Bedford, MA and Beth and Jim Barry of West Roxbury, MA. Nana will be sorely missed by 16 loving grandchildren and 10 loving great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Joseph Carroll and aunt to three devoted nieces. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, November 3, 2006, at 10 AM at St. John Chrysostom Church, 4750 Washington Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132. Interment immediately following at Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, MA. Many relatives and friends attended.
