Barbara J. (Reynolds) McGinn, 56, died peacefully at home Thursday, October 26, 2006. Barbara is survived by her beloved husband Francis McGinn; her son Daniel W. Schonborg, Jr., of Clarksville, TN; a daughter Tracy Schonborg and son-in-law David LeBlanc of Worcester; her grandchildren David Jr., Brandi, and Brandon all of Worcester; her sisters Ann Burch and her husband Kenneth of Auburn, Joanne Cullinan and her husband Keith of New Town, CT, and Susan Rochette and her husband Neil of Greensboro, NC; her brothers George Reynolds, Jr., and his wife Marilyn of Auburn, James Reynolds of Auburn, and John Reynolds and his wife Diane of Worcester; her stepmother Evangeline Carlson of Auburn; several stepbrothers and stepsisters; several nieces and nieces; her favorite niece, Donna Nieber; and her best friend, Judy Graves. Her sister Virginia Gates and stepfather, Edward Carlson, predeceased her.
Born in Worcester, she was a daughter of the late Anna E. Carlson and George A. Reynolds, Sr. She attended Worcester schools. Barbara worked at UMass Hahnemann Campus in Food Services for 17 years. She previously worked at Worcester City Hospital. She enjoyed life to the fullest—long walks with her grandchildren, roses, the color purple, vacations at Lake George and, of course, ELVIS.
