Obituary

Anthony J. “Tony” Pagano, 91 of Medford died Saturday after a long illness.

Born in Somerville, he lived in Medford since 1944 and was the son of the late Rose (Blasi) and Carmen Pagano. Anthony retired in 1980 from the City of Medford after many years of being the City Engineer. After retirement 1980 to 2002 he was a consulting Engineer with the City of Medford. In 1997 the City of Medford dedicated a bridge near Tufts University in Anthony’s name for his many years of service to the city. Tony was a graduate of Somerville High School, a 1938 Tufts graduate and advanced his career with courses at M.I.T.

Beloved husband of the late Katherine A. (Keenan) Pagano. Brother of Raffaella Bertolino of Braintree, and the late Angelina Pagano and Margaret Bosio. Also survived by several brothers in law, sisters in law, many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 9 AM.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Visiting hours Wednesday 4 - 8.

Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
