Helen F. (Hayes) McMahon, 92, of Hamilton St. died Saturday, Oct. 28, in Radius Healthcare.
Her husband John F. McMahon, Sr. died in 1972. She leaves four sons, Jack F. of Winthrop, Richard S., James H. and Christopher T., all of Worcester; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A son Michael J.; a brother, James Hayes; three sisters, Anna Hayes, Jacqueline Riordan and Margaret Conlon, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Michael and Joanna (Holden) Hayes and graduated from Commerce High School. She was a life-long member of St. Stephen's Church.
The funeral will be held Thursday, Nov. 2, from Callahan and Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10 AM at St. Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Wednesday, Nov. 1, from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Ave., Suite 2, Norwood, 02062.
