Donald L. Max, 64, of Windham, NH died Friday, October 27, 2006 at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. Mr. Max was born on January 31, 1942 in Paterson, NJ, a son of the late Charles J. and Margaret (Kuehm) Max. He had been a resident of Windham for the past three years, previously living in New Jersey. Mr. Max was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a Vice President for the Fifth Third Bank of Cincinnati, OH. Mr. Max was a family man who did nothing without his family and loved to spend time with his granddaughters. He lived life his way and was always described as a “good man” who enjoyed golf, socializing and spending time in Florida. Mr. Max was also an avid NY Jets fan.
Mr. Max is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carolyn (Word) Max of Windham; his two daughters: Kristen Max of Cedar Knolls, NJ and Karen Max and her husband, Chris Gaudette of Windham, NH; two granddaughters: Lindsay and Riley Gaudette; one brother, Raymond Max of Roswell GA; one sister, Nancy Jelleme of Pequannock, NJ; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Charles J. Max, Jr.
Callinbg hours were on Wednesday, November 1st from 5-8 PM at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 2nd at 1:30 PM in the Londonderry Presbyterian Church, Londonderry. Burial followed at the Cemetery on the Plain, Windham.
