Also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins who deeply cared for her. Funeral from the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn on Monday, October 30, at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church, Main St. Woburn at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours Sunday 4 thru 8, Services will conclude with burial at Westview Cemetery, Lexington. Beverly Frances Bigham passed away Wednesday at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, following a extended illness. She was sixty two years of age.
Born in Brookline she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (O´Connor) and William Moran. Beverly was raised in Arlington, she was a 1961 graduate of Holy Rosary Academy and continued her education at Boston State College where she received her teaching degree. Beverly worked for the U.S. Government teaching in Newfoundland and Japan. She later taught at the Lexington Christian Academy and worked in the computer industry untill her illness prevented her from working.
She was very active in a number of local political campaigns and was often in the forefront of many community issues. She was devoted to her family and friends and cared for them as much as they loved and cared for her, she also was very fond of her cat “Emma” who often could be found by her side.
Beverly is survived by her daughter Diane Regan of California, her two loving grandchildren Billy and Kenny Learned of California, and her very special friend William Harkins of Woburn. Also several aunts, uncles and many cousins.
Her funeral will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn on Monday, October 30, at 8 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St. Woburn at 9. Services will conclude with burial at Westview Cemetery, Lexington.
