Nathan J. Doege, 16 of Derry, NH, died Thursday, October 26, 2006 in the Boston Medical Center, Boston, MA from injuries sustained in an accident. Nathan was born in Haverhill, MA on July 17, 1990, a son of Jonathan Doege and Sue Page. He was currently a junior at Pinkerton Academy, Derry. He was active in the Royal Rangers with the Trinity Assembly of God Church in Derry, where he was the groundskeeper, taking great pride in keeping the grounds perfect for Sunday services. He enjoyed camping and hiking with the Rangers and enjoyed woodworking, jet skiing, tubing, skateboarding and music.
He is survived by his mother, Sue Page of Derry, his father, Jonathan Doege and his wife Diane of Blaine, WA, two sisters, Sarah Doege and Elena Doege, both of Derry, his paternal grandfather, Herbert Doege of Lunenburg, MA, three uncles, Jeff Doege and his wife Mary-Jo of Lunenburg, Jerry Doege of Pennsylvania, Danny Page and his wife Susan of Marblehead, MA, two aunts, Gail Lavery and her husband Rick of Windham, NH, Joanna Schultz and her husband Mike of North Carolina, and also by many cousins, great aunts, uncles and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Bill and Louise Page and his paternal grandmother, Elsie Doege.
Visiting hours were held from 4-8pm, Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Funeral services were held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, November 1st in the Trinity Assembly of God Church, 53 North Main Street, Derry, NH 03038. The burial was Thursday in the Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry. Memorial contributions may be made to the Royal Rangers c/o Trinity Assembly of God Church.
