Thomas J. Clancy II, 57 of Raymond, Maine of formerly of Medway and Millis, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at his home in Maine. He was the former husband of Jean (Dwyer) Clancy of Foxboro.
Born in Brighton on September 18, 1949, he was the son of the late John H. and Helen (Braun) Clancy. Mr. Clancy grew up in Millis and resided in Medway for 25 years until moving to Maine about one year ago. .
He graduated from Millis High School in 1967 and received a Masters Degree in Psychology from Framingham State College. He had worked at the former Deluxe Check Printers in Framingham for 25 years and was a Vietnam Air Force veteran.
He loved gardening and fishing and was a member of the American Legion Post in Gray, Maine.
Besides his former wife, he is survived by a daughter, Jessica Keaney of Foxboro, a son, Jonathan Clancy of Foxboro, a granddaughter, Meagan Keaney of Foxboro and three sisters, Margaret Gurian of Iowa City, Iowa, Kathy Case of Cumberland, Maine and Mary Bouthillier of Casselman, Ontario.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com), 3 Barber St., Medway on Monday, October 30, 2006 at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 111 Exchange St. in Millis at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Millis.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
