Obituary

David C. Cassavant, 58, of 13 Franklin Street died Tuesday, Oct. 24
at his home after being stricken ill.
He leaves his father Roland H. Cassavant with whom he lived. Two
daughters Jessica Gray and her husband Steven of Reston, Va. and Melissa
Cassavant of Whitinsville, his former wife Linda (Chalmers) Cassavant of
Whitinsville and a grandson Nicholas Gray of Reston, Virginia.
Mr. Cassavant was born in New York, NY, son of the late Anne J.
(Cromwell) Cassavant. He graduated from David Prouty High School and
attended Holy Cross College. He recently graduated from the Mass Bay E.M.T.
program. He worked for many years as a general manager of Honeywell in
Wellesley and later at V-Mark in Shrewsbury. He was an avid deep sea diver
an accomplished photographer who enjoyed computers, technology, music and
art. He was a member and past president of the Stony Brook Camera Club.
A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of
the Rosary Church, 7 Church Street, Spencer. Burial will be at the
convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers
memorial donations may be made tothe Spencer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 147,
Spencer, MA 01562. J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr.,
Spencer is directing arrangements.
