Maureen McDonough 50 of Norton, and a former longtime resident of Franklin died Friday October 20, 2006 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, following a long illness.
Born in Brooklyn, New York October 15, 1950 a daughter of George T. McDonough of Franklin and the late Catherine T. (Nolan) McDonough, she had lived in Franklin for most of her life, before relocating to Norton several years ago.
She was educated in Franklin Public schools, and was a 1974 graduate of Franklin High School. She also attended the University of Wisconsin.
She worked as a real estate broker for more than 20 years for the family owned and operated firm CTM Real Estate Co. in Franklin.
She was a devoted mother and friend to her children and granddaughter, and also enjoyed cooking and painting.
Surviving in addition to her father are 2 sons, Timothy E. Sheridan and Noah G. Sheridan both of North Attleboro, 1 brother Terrance McDonough of Wrentham, her granddaughter Gabriella E. Sheridan and her longtime companion Michael J. O’Connor of Norton.
Her funeral services are private.
