Irene H. (Impey) Dailey, 58 of Daytona Beach, Florida and formerly of Franklin and Bellingham died October 23 in the Hospice for Volusia-Flager Counties, Florida. She was the wife of James P. Dailey Jr.
Born in Arlington on July 1, 1948, the daughter of Gertrude (Talcott) Impey of Daytona Beach, Florida and the late Roy Impey, Mrs. Dailey was raised in Franklin and had lived in Bellingham for many years before moving to Florida recently.
She was a 1966 graduate of Franklin High School.
Mrs. Dailey had worked for the South Shore Bank in Franklin and then for Fleet Bank as a manager in Franklin and continued there after it became part of Bank America.
Mrs. Dailey was an ardent and loyal fan of the New England Patriots for many years.
In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by her sons, James P. Dailey III of Uxbridge, Patrick M. Dailey of Blackstone, Paul F. Dailey of Somerville and Michael T. Dailey of Oakland, Rhode Island and her daughter, Kelly Dailey of Bellingham.
She is also survived by her brother, Thomas W. Impey of N. Attleboro, and sisters, Patricia A. Impey of Franklin and Donna M. Tutungian of Franklin. She was the sister of the late Roy Impey, Michael Impey and Stephen Impey.
She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday October 28 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main St. Franklin at 8:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church at 9:00.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
