Marguerite (Brink) Feuer, a steadfast and lifelong resident of her family home in Newton, died Mon Oct. 23, 2006 at her home.
Born and raised in Newton she attended Mt. Alvernia Academy and graduated from Newton High School. She also attended Sweetbriar College in VA and graduated from Mary Mount College in Tarrytown, NY. She was a lifelong communicant of Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Newton, a 50-year member of the Coral Beach & Tennis Club in Bermuda, an honorary member of Longwood Cricket Club in Chestnut Hill, a member of the Brae Burn Country Club of Newton and a member of the Wellesley College Club.
Wife of the late Leo J. Feuer she is survived by her children Jonathan T. Feuer of NY, Charles B. Feuer of PA and Elisabeth L. Feuer of Newton, her brother’s and sister Dr. Charles I. Brink III of MA & FL, Natalie B. Galligan of Newton and Michael Monroe of CA. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Robert B. Feuer and Gretchen B. Feuer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thurs Oct 26 at 10:30 AM in Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Newton. Interment will follow at Newton Cemetery. Visiting hours will be in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St. Newton Corner on Wed from 4:30 to 7:30 PM.
