Bridgewater- Paul A. Grublin, 55, of Bridgewater, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Constance (Galvin) Grublin.
Born March 9, 1951, in Boston, he was the son of the late Alexander and Catherine (Smiddy) Grublin.
He was a graduate of Christopher Columbus High School in the North End of Boston, Class of 1968.
Mr. Grublin had been a resident of Bridgewater for the past 31 years, coming from Dorchester.
He worked for Verizon/New England Telephone Co. for 25 years, retiring in 2002.
Mr. Grublin was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church and enjoyed gardening and was a history enthusiast.
In addition to his wife, he was also the father of Donna M. Trapp, Elaine M. Grublin and Laurie A. Grublin, all of Bridgewater; brother of Anne Marie MacKinnon of Fla., Catherine Mylette of Whitman, Stephen M. Grublin, Margaret Walsh and Mary O’Loughlin, all of Dorchester and Joanne Woods of Braintree. Also survived by his grandchildren, Jenna and Ryan Trapp and many nieces and nephews.
His Funeral will be held from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Thursday at 8:15 am. Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 9 am. Visiting hours are Wednesday 4-8 pm. Burial will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
