Palma (Bordonaro) Siracusa, of Medford, died Friday at Arbors of Bedford Nursing Center. She was 96.
Mrs. Siracusa was born and raised in East Boston, the daughter of the late Joseph and Felicia (Faraci) Bordonaro. Medford resident since 1957, Palma worked many years for New england Telephone on Franklin St. in Boston. She retired in 1975. She resided for the past several years at a New Hampshire nursing home near her son Larry.
She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas Siracusa who died in 1990. She was a devoted mother to Larry Siracusa and his wife Candee of Londonderry, NH. She was a loving grandmother to Geoffrey. She was the dear sister to the late Josephine Sansom, Tina Sacovitch, Connie Licitri and Peter Bordonaro.
Family and friends may call Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A funeral service will be celebrated at Grace Episcopal Church, Medford, Wednesday, at 10 AM with the reverend Thomas Cook, officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
