Obituary

WEBSTER – Joseph S. Bertini, 58, of 32 Myrtle Avenue, died Thursday, Oct. 19, in Milford Regional Medical Center after being stricken ill.

He leaves 4 sons, Joseph Bertini of Oxford, John Pelletier of Worcester, Joseph Wilson of Whitinsville, and Joey Bertini of Worcester; 2 daughters, Samantha Holbrook of Worcester and Christine Pelletier of Southbridge; 2 brothers, Francis and Anthony Bertini, both of Worcester; 2 sisters, Mary Standring and Katherine Faford, both of Webster; among his grandchildren, he leaves a granddaughter, Nevaeh L. Baillargeon; nephews and nieces.

He was born in Worcester and raised in Oxford, the son of Joseph and Constance (McCarthy) Bertini. He lived in Oxford for most of his life, moving to Webster recently.

Mr. Bertini was a security guard for the Worcester Pilgrim Parking Security for several years before retiring due to illness. He enjoyed restoring and driving racing cars.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, Oct. 23, in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. A calling period will be from 9:30 to l1:00 AM Monday, Oct. 23, in the funeral home.
