Freetown – Marion E. (Cornell) Cosmos, 87, of E. Freetown died at home after a long illness on October 18, 2006. She was the wife of Rev. John E. Cosmos.
Mrs. Cosmos was born in Acushnet, daughter of the late Harry A. and Rose E. (Westgate) Cornell, and resided in E. Freetown for the past 44 years. She was a member of the South Christian Church of All Nations, Freetown. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and loved to talk on the telephone.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 sons: James F. Smith of E. Freetown and William A. Smith of Southington, CT; a sister: Alberta Amaro of Windsor Locks, CT; 2 brothers: Harry A. Cornell of Seattle, WA and Thomas Cornell of Windsor Locks, CT; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services Monday, October 23, 2006 at the Kirby Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
Interment in Acushnet Cemetery, Acushnet.
