Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 9am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday 4-7pm.
Obituary
Rose Lerro died Tuesday evening at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton after a brief illness. She was born and raised in the North End of Boston, the daughter of the late Anthony and Maria (Giudicianni) Sorrentino. She had been a resident of Brockton for the past 25 years, previously residing in Waltham. Mrs. Lerro had stayed at home to raise her family. She was an accomplished cook and enjoyed trips to DW Field Park, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun in CT.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph P. Lerro, Jr. of Brockton and Robert Lerro of Braintree, her sisters, and a brother, Dorothy Ferullo of Dorchester, Catherine Giannone, Mary Candelora both of Randolph, Lillian Triangle of Lexington, Elizabeth Brabant of Wilmington, Louis Sorrentino of Cape Cod and many nieces and nephews.
She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Lerro and sister of the late Margaret Giardini, Sidney, Frank and Albert Sorrentino.
