LOWELL—Marguerite A. “Peggy” (McDonnell) Rigg, 97 years old, a resident of Chelmsford since the early 1920’s, died Saturday morning September 14th, at Town and Country Nursing Center, in Lowell. She was the wife of the late Arthur R. Rigg, who died in 1986.
She was born in Concord, NH, on August 5, 1905, a daughter of the late William and Julia (Walker) McDonnell, and was educated in the Concord, NH School system. She was a former resident of Priscilla Avenue, Chelmsford.
She is survived by her nephew Francis Rigg, of Chelmsford.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service Tuesday, September 17th, at 1 PM at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). Burial in the Edson Cemetery. Friends may call from 12 noon until the service at 1 PM.
