Rodenbush of Brockton October 17, 2006, Claire M. (Doucette) Rodenbush, 77 years. Loving wife for 50 years of Daniel J. Rodenbush. Beloved mother of Daniel J. Rodenbush, Jr. and his wife Linda of Foxboro, Paula M. Macomber and her husband Donald of Raynham and Richard E. Rodenbush of Brockton. Meme of Haley, D.J. and Chip Rodenbush and Lindsey, Kelly and Matthew Macomber. Sister of Paul Doucette of Alexander, VA., Robert Doucette of Plympton and the late Col. Richard Doucette (USAF).

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish (formerly St. Colman Church) at 9 am. The Rev. John McLaughlin will officiate. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Obituary

Claire M. Rodenbush died peacefully Tuesday evening surrounded by her family at the Brockton Hospital, after a brief illness. She was born in Brockton, the daughter of the late Esdras H. and Beatrice (Cote) Doucette. Mrs. Rodenbush remained a life long resident of the city and was a graduate of St. Patrick High School. Before her retirement she had been an Administrative Assistant at Merrill Shoe in Westgate. Previously she was an office manager at C.C. Rodenbush and Sons, Inc. in Brockton. She was a member of St. Ann’s Holy Sodality and the School Guild at Sacred Heart Church. She was an avid Boston sports fan, but her biggest joy was her family and she traveled extensively with her family. Mrs. Rodenbush recently celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Daniel J. Rodenbush, a daughter and two sons, Daniel J. Rodenbush, Jr. and his wife Linda of Foxboro, Paula M. Macomber and her husband Donald of Raynham and Richard E. Rodenbush of Brockton, 6 grandchildren, Haley, D.J. and Chip Rodenbush and Lindsey, Kelly and Matthew Macomber, two brothers, Paul Doucette of Alexander, VA and Robert Doucette of Plympton and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was the sister of the late Col. Richard Doucette (USAF).
