Maxine L. Baron, 62, of 16 Massachusetts Ave. died September 14, 2002 in the Hospice House in Concord. A lifelong resident of Laconia, she was born here on June 14, 1940, the daughter of Joseph and Ivy (Karnan) Chatigny.
Until this past March, when illness forced her to take leave, she had been employed as an Assistant Manager at the local Dexter Shoe Store for more than 21 years.
Family members include four daughters, Laurel Patten of Gilmanton Iron Works, Lu-anne Boucher of Boscawen, and twins, Naomi Patten and Carrie Baron, both of Laconia; two sons, Duncan Blake of Moultonborough and Dean Blake of Seattle WA; and seven grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery on Friday at 11 AM. Rev. Adrien Longchamps. Pastor of Sacred Heart Church officiated.
