WORCESTER-Oswald J. Cameron, 76, of Worcester, died Monday, October 16th in the St. Francis Home. He is survived by his wife, Christine (Daley) Cameron, a son, John A.D. Cameron of Worcester, 5 daughters, Pearletta Cameron of England, Carmen A. Boothe of Worcester, Angela J. Cameron of Fort Worth, TX, Althea L. Cameron of Weymouth and Chloe M. Cameron, of Worcester, 3 brothers, Felix E. Burrell of Jamaica, Roy Cameron of Queens, NY and Caleb Cameron of England, 4 sisters, Valda Clare and Maureen Osborne, both of Queens, NY, Joyce Cameron-Allen of Long Island, NY and Doris Manning of England, 18 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. His daughter, Shannon Young died in 1989 and 2 brothers, Keith and Derek Cameron predeceased him.
He was born in Jamaica, the son of Egbert and Susan (Smikle) Cameron. Mr. Cameron was employed by Brown Electrical and Warner and Swasey Electrical as a Master Electrician. He was a member of All Saints Church.
The funeral is Saturday, October 21st with a service at 9:30 AM in All Saints Church, 10 Irving Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, October 20th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue.
